Some of the current international
research topics include : inclusion, children’s health and nutrition, sleeping
and anxiety in children of preschool. The surprising facts I gained from
exploring this international early childhood website was that they provide the
families and caregivers with information on any subject listed above and resources
from other organizations.
I find it interesting there was a information on Early Childhood’s
Code of ethics. The code of ethics recognizes that childhood professionals hold
a position that is unique of influence and trust in the relationships they have
with children, families, colleagues and the community in which they serve so accountability
is the key.
A code of ethics for early childhood professionals seems like a great idea! We can never be reminded enough about the influence we have, and how we can shape children's lives and the lives of their families as well, long after they leave our care or classroom.
